Male call
A few weeks ago, through the aid of a great community, I was able to determine the sex of one of my young plants (pre-flower). He has been the first to show. As young as he is, I have been carefully monitoring his pollen sac development.
As a new grower I also decided to seize the opportunity to try my hand at some LST and pruning techniques. Surprisingly enough, I have not killed this thing yet. I gave it a good trim the day after feeding and he responded very well to my surprise!
I am starting to wish I had a tent just for bringing males to maturity. This could very well be a good one to keep pollen from to pollinate a female down the road as I continue to experiment.
How about you all? Do you dispose of your males right away or use them to try things on?
